Alex, plastics technician and businessman. Patti, trained social pedagogue. Their backgrounds couldn't be more different – but they share a boundless love for great coffee.
Since 2010, they've perfected their coffee, worked with many excellent roasters, and tasted countless beans. But to tell the complete story – from plantation to cup – the step to their own roastery was inevitable.
Today we roast ourselves: on computer-controlled Dutch drum roasters, with carefully selected beans from the world's best plantations. Everything in-house. Everything with heart.

Germans drink over 160 liters of coffee per year – putting us third worldwide. But over 70% of this consumption happens at home, and only 3% comes from local small roasters.
We're proud to be part of this 3%. While large roasters focus on volume, we focus on quality, taste, and the personal relationship with our guests.
