History
Asbach Cola combines German brandy with American cola in a surprisingly harmonious longdrink. Asbach Uralt was founded in 1892 by Hugo Asbach in Rüdesheim am Rhein and has since been Germany's most famous brandy. The combination with cola may sound unusual, but it's a beloved classic in German bars.
Taste Experience
Surprisingly smooth and complex. Fruity elegance dances with sparkling sweetness, while a characteristic warmth remains perceptible in the background. An underrated classic.
Fun Fact
Hugo Asbach coined the term "Weinbrand" as a German alternative to French "Cognac" – a word he specifically invented when French product names were banned in Germany after World War I.
