The Story

Hugo is a young star among aperitifs, born in 2005 in a bar in Naturns, South Tyrol. Bartender Roland Gruber invented it as a lighter alternative to Aperol Spritz. Originally made with lemon balm, elderflower syrup quickly became the standard. The name "Hugo" is simply a friendly, memorable name – without deeper meaning, but with great impact.

The Experience
"Hugo is like a walk through a blooming garden. Sweet, floral aromas combine with cooling freshness and light sparkle. It's a drink of captivating lightness – refreshing, elegant, and irresistibly summery."
