Since 1901, the Andrade family has been cultivating premium coffees in the volcanic highlands of Minas Gerais. Our friends Ismael, his brother Eduardo, and son Romulo have won numerous awards for their top-quality coffee. These guys don’t just grow coffee; they also show great pioneering spirit in processing and refining the beans. This exclusive microlot was refined using carbonic maceration: fully ripe coffee cherries rest in a CO₂-saturated atmosphere. In this oxygen-free environment, a slow, controlled fermentation takes place inside the bean. The result is an extraordinary taste experience that redefines the classic Brazilian sweetness—a complex bouquet of ripe cherries and candied fruits, underlined by a velvety texture and a fine, wine-like complexity.
