The Story

The Espresso Martini was invented in 1983 by legendary London bartender Dick Bradsell. The story goes that a famous model came to his bar asking for a drink that would "wake her up, then mess her up." Bradsell combined freshly brewed espresso with vodka and coffee liqueur – creating one of the most iconic cocktails in modern bar history. Today it's experiencing a renaissance and is more popular than ever.

The Experience
"The first sip is a revelation: the creaminess of the perfect crema, then the depth of the coffee. It's a drink that wakes you up while relaxing you – the perfect balance between stimulation and indulgence."

Did You Know?

Dick Bradsell originally called the drink "Vodka Espresso." The name "Espresso Martini" came later when cocktails with "Martini" in the name became more popular – although technically it's not a Martini.
