The Story

The Mojito is Cuba's national cocktail with a history reaching back to the 16th century. Some historians believe an early version was drunk by Sir Francis Drake and his crew as medicine against scurvy and dysentery. The modern Mojito as we know it developed in Havana and became world-famous through Ernest Hemingway's love for this drink. "My mojito in La Bodeguita, my daiquiri in El Floridita" – so he supposedly said.

The Experience
"The Mojito is a drink that appeals to all senses. The aroma of mint rises to your nose, the coolness of the ice refreshes your lips, then the taste explodes: sweet, sour, herbal, minty – all in perfect harmony. It tastes like summer, beach, and Caribbean joie de vivre."
