History
Fruit tea is strictly speaking not a real tea, but an infusion of dried fruits, flowers, and herbs – and that is exactly what makes it so special. While real tea comes from Camellia sinensis, fruit tea offers a caffeine-free alternative full of natural flavors. The tradition of brewing fruits dates back millennia and is found in almost all cultures of the world.
Taste Experience
The first sip is like a summer day in a glass – fruity-sweet with a pleasant acidity. Natural sweetness meets a hint of wildness and sunny citrus notes. Wonderfully refreshing both hot and cold.
Fun Fact
Hibiscus flowers, the main ingredient in many fruit teas, are grown in over 80 countries and contain more Vitamin C than oranges. In Egypt, hibiscus tea is called "Karkade" and is considered the national drink.
